There are many ways you could help– from joining the committee to helping out at an event by running a stall or activity. You will of all no doubt heard or seen the changes happening behind the fence in the playground. All of the sheds have now been relocated and the contractors have started digging out the foundations. All of the children are very excited watching the works progress.
Stoneham Construction will be starting work on our new modular build from Monday 6th February. We will keep you regularly updated with each stage of the development and share pictures and plans of the progress in the shelter. Next week will involve setting up and securing the area from our staff car park to the playground area where the classroom will be situated. The following week they will start work on the foundations.
Can I please continue to the importance of parents not using the staff car park at any time for dropping off or picking up their children. We will be losing the five car parking spaces that currently back onto the four sheds situated in the playground to allow access for the contractors. This.will remain in place until the estimated completion date of 27th May 2017.
This is an exciting development for the school and one that will provide our children with a fit for purpose and free up some much needed space in our current environment. If you do have any questions please direct these through the ‘parent site and building group' through the school office.
We are pleased to announce that work is due to start on 8th February for the new single modular classroom. Some members of the parent development group have formed a community and build committee who will be working closely with school on the project. Further information to follow.
