During I.C.T. this term, Class Three have been 'developing images using repeating patterns'.
In this unit children learn to develop visual ideas and to realise these ideas using I.C.T.
They have used a computer graphics package to explore and experiment with ideas and amend and modify their work to meet specific outcomes.
The Children have been learning to use I.C.T. tools appropriately and selected areas of an image to cut, copy and change. They have exported their work to other packages and imported images from sources such as clip art, scanner or digital camera.

Some of the skills they have learnt are:

• That I.C.T. can be used to develop images
• That pictures can be assembled by repeating elements
• To alter the size of the brush tool
• To select areas, copy and re-size them
• To use a range of visual effects, such as reflection or symmetry
• That I.C.T. can be used to recreate images made by hand
• That a screen image can be a finished product

They have used the skills and techniques learnt to communicate their ideas in the 'Mixed Media Collage'.
